Created on 4th August, 2016 by Mr. Dominic Odei-Bawuah, the page has grown and stayed relevant over the seven (7) years it’s been in existence.

He is an alumnus of University of Cape Coast, Ghana and graduated in 2012 with BSc Psychology.

Mr. Dominic Odei-Bawuah a young handsome business man in his mid-thirties was inspired to create this page to serve as a platform to promote African way of dressing and also promote a clothing line He had planned to establish after tertiary.

The name B-wear African swag was coined from his name ‘Bawuah’ which is captured as ‘B’ and the purpose for which the page was created was also considered ‘WEAR AFRICAN’ and obviously He wanted the wearing of African outfits to look extraordinary hence the ‘SWAG’ was added.

The page has over 440k followers as at March 2023.

Mr. Odei-Bawuah is working at the marketing sector of one of the branches of Mohinani Group in Ghana which is into the mass production of plastic wares like water storage tanks, mobile toilets, dustbins, LDPE, laminated pouches and rolls, gallons etc.

He has interests mostly in fashion, entrepreneurship, money and investment, entertainment.

Over the years he has liaised with prominent fashion homes to serve followers with quality and outstanding outfits usually male kaftans, locally made beaded accessories among other locally produced items relevant to the fashion industry.
